5 Stars Great TV, Great Price!!
So far I have been very happy with this TV, I bought it to use as a bedroom TV.

Now, I have had and HD TV in my living room for a few years now (another Sony) and now that I have this one I see some of the changes made to the newer TVs and now I want to replace the living room TV because of these changes. Seems like there have been some very nice ’software’ upgrades as far as the menu system and some of the features I wish my older TV had.

I didn’t buy it from Amazon but I did get it for the same price. Very good price for a very good TV. Very impressive HD picture, and I have it hooked up to my computer and it makes a great monitor. If I wish something was different I would like change the source of the PIP window when using my computer, as it stands right now this can not be done I can only watch an over the air antenna while using my computer.

Over all great product for a great price, just shop around.

5 Stars Beautiful Picture – Great Value – Highly Recommended!
I love this television. The picture is gorgeous and requires no adjustments. I’m using it with my DirecTV HD connection. 720P is just fine for this screen size – you really don’t need 1080P and couldn’t probably tell the difference on a 32″ screen.

5 Stars Great for the Money
It’s a great TV for the money. Excellent picture quality coupled with intuitive menus reinforce my decision to go with Sony. For 720P the picture is sharp and clear, slight blurring on fast moving objects, but that’s common on LCD’s, at least with today’s technology. Shipping was fast and free, what’s not to like.

5 Stars Sony, The One and Only
This TV set is simply wonderful! Picture is sharp as well as definition.I also own a Samsung 40 inch set. My new Sony is absolutely superior in all possible aspects. After all, it’s a SONY!!!It’s a sure shot!

5 Stars Excellent Purchase
We purchased this TV for our family and they love it. It has a great picture and tremendous sound for such small looking speakers. We are hopeful that it will have the Sony reliability and longevity….time will tell !

5 Stars Amazon Customer service absolutely first rate 100% tops!!!
I ordered the Sony 2 weeks ago, after doing some research, in part because of Amazon’s great price, and the reviews I read here. I admit, I was a tad nervous about ordering a big-ticket item from an online retailer, having never done it before. The set arrived exactly when scheduled, the afternoon of the 11th. The guy from my cable company came the next morning, the 12th, to hook it up. We take it out of the box, put it on the stand. He connects it, turns it on..we have sound, but NO picture. So we call Sony..they say try a few things..( thank God the cable guy is here) no luck..NO pic..nada..zilch…so Sony gives me an Event #..( sounds like a FEMA event) and the number for one of their authorized repair outfits..I call, and the guy arrives the NEXT day, the 13th, on time, exactly when scheduled.a miracle..We lay the set face down on a blanket, he takes it apart..tests a bunch of stuff..he thought there might have been a loose connection..no joy..he calls Sony, on his tech support line..they go through more options..finally decide that the whole panel, AND possibly one or two boards, are kaput, and have to be replaced. It will take a week or so to get them, and then they have to turn my living room into a TV repair shop. At this point I say to myself..NO WAY..not gonna happen..so I call Amazon..just start to tell my story to the lady who gets my call…after one minute, she says “SIR, STOP!!! I’m so sorry that happened to you.. We’ll send you out a new set today, and the people who deliver it weill pick up the old one at the same time..” I am stunned. NO WAY it can be this easy. Truly a great way to do business. BTW…talking tot he repair guy and the Sony tech, it seems like it’s unheard of for a set to be bad right out of the box…neither of them new of it ever happening before. All I can say, if I had boufght it from Best Buy or Circuit City, no way would they have been as eager to send me a new one..so, for me..I’m 100% sold on Amazon…however..I’m gonna miss all the footballgames theis coming weekend on my big new set…

    5 Stars Great TV
Did a lot of research on LCD tvs and actually purchased a much larger type. Our son talked us into returning it and purchasing this Sony for the 120 hz and we’re glad we did. Picture is fantastic. No complaints. Amazon delivery was perfect as well.

    5 Stars Great: Price/Performance/Delivery
After going nuts for months analyzing HD TV specs and comparing 52″ sets in stores I bought a Philips 120hz model at Costo who do have a 90 day return policy as I was leery of buying something this big and fragile on-line with cross-country shipping.

Long story short, the Philips had a few issues, it was returned, and I “bit the bullet” and went with Amazon for the W4100. My considerations went by the way because the TV arrived in six days, was unboxed and put on a stand by the bare handed White Glove guys, and the set has run as advertised.

The sets I compared were the Samsung 650, the Philips, and the Sony 4100. 120hz was important consideration for sports and action movies, and I didn’t want to spend over two grand. The Samsung’s screen is nearly as reflective as most plasma sets, a deal breaker for my very bright room. The Philips was best for that but for its power-cycling, re-sizing, and sound issues.

Watch for Amazon deals on this TV. For the price of the warehouse store Philips, I got a TV that has more features, a marginally better picture (although a bit more reflective), and a Sony Blu-ray S350 and four movies thrown in! And this doesn’t cover the included delivery and set-up.

    Sony Bravia W-Series KDL-52W4100 52-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV

    5 Stars Great product
I was a little leery to purchase such an expensive and delicate item over the internet and have it delivered to my home. I have to say that I can’t be more pleased with my purchase. The television arrived quickly and in perfect condition via Amazon’s “white glove” delivery, and I have been enjoying my favorite programs in HD ever since!

5 Stars Sony Bravada 52 inch LCD T
The TV is fantastic!! Great picture and sound!! I cannot thank Amazon enough for this product, the price was the best I have ever found and the shipping was excellent! Ordered the TV on a Monday, it came that Friday! Thanks Amazon!!

    5 Stars Better than I expected…and I expected a bunch
The TV is crystal clear and amazing. This TV replaced a 2yr old 37in Sharp LCD and the difference is night and day.

Menu system is one of the most intuitive I have ever seen.

    Quality is first-rate.

Very happy with my purchase. Ordering and delivery was as promised.

1 Star The TV is Great, the AMAZON order processing earns my purchase a 1 star
Amazon changes the rules after they take your money. The original order I made said Electronic Express, then they changed it to another shipping priorty without notifying me. I called them and I reached a gentlemen who gave me a order number to go to Electronic Express to determine when my TV would be shipped. Electronic Express of course did not recognize the order number and told me to go back to Amazon. I called a second time and reached a lady.. clearly from India who would NOT divert from her script she was given and kept repeating the same thing over and over. I called back.. got a guy from India.. Suprise.. he loved his script too. But I told him he could not qualify for customer service, but more of a narator of a very entertaining script of we have your money.. we dont care if it takes 3 months to get your tv. I am sure Amazon will take this rating down as soon as they see it. Hopefully I will educate a potential buyer on Amazon from making the same mistake I made. I would not purchase from them again and I will most certainly post my disapointment about Amazon on the website that refered me to Amazon and also any other websites I get the chance to.

    5 Stars GORGEOUS!!!!!!!
I am totally smitten by this TV. I know its not a 120HZ…But seriously, its an LCD 1080p. And its a SONY!!!!!!! These dont die out and it also have the bravia sync if I need later on…Both myself and my hubby and stuck to it from the time we have had it. The white glove service that delivers the TV is AWESOME! they unpack and assemble it …Start it , even connect it and check it to see if it works before they leave!! Totally Impressed.

    5 Stars Amazing Sony HD!
I Purchased this TV from Amazon.com/Electronics Expo on 11-20-08, I couldn’t be happier with this great Sony HD set or the super fast shipping!! This TV was so easy to set up and use, we were watching it within 10 minutes of receiving it! The picture quality blew us away, it’s bright, sharp and beautiful!! This is the best bang for your buck!! Sure you can buy a way more expensive television, but I don’t know why you would, This Sony KDL-52V4100 is without a doubt the best picture I have ever seen in my life!!! Thanks, and happy shopping!

    5 Stars Very Pleased
Great TV at a great price! I was skeptical about buying TV online but Amazon’s price beat all local retailers. We’ve had good luck w/Sony TVs in the past. The White Glove delivery went smoothly & arrived several days early. It’s so nice to be able to see the TV from anywhere in our Great Room!

5 Stars EXCELLENT QUALITY, EXCELLENT PRICE, AWESOME!!!
Ok, at first I was afraid to buy this set since it is not 1080. I have to admit that for its size you don’t need to spend any more money on 1080. Leave that to your larger sets 40″ and above.

Shipping was fast! Ordered through Amazon, shipped from J&R. They even open the box before shipping and add extra padding to make sure your purchase arrives safely.

Out of the box and watching digital TV in less than 15 min. I mean it couldn’t be easier. Out of the box, on the stand, 3 screws, power cord, and connect to an antenna or source. Turn on the power; confirm your language choice and the system starts scanning for analog and digital channels. All that was the easy part.

Now for the hard part. Tearing yourself away from the awesome HD picture from over the air broadcasts. You’ll say to yourself, wow what a deal!!! Picture is great out of the box. I might make a few adjustments but this is great. I highly recommend this size set for the bedroom or someplace that its size is right. Sitting in bed it is the perfect size. In addition, Sony has continued to lay out the controls on the remote in their standard places, so for me there was no learning.

For $569 you can’t go wrong. Great Sony Quality, Great Price, and Excellent ordering experience with Amazon. (Seriously, why even go to the store and buy one…Amazon makes this too easy!!! Now to find a nice Sony 52″ for the main room)

    5 Stars Sony Bravia 32″
    Television has met all expectations

    No problems at all

    Picture clear as a bell

    4 Stars Great Secondary TV
I purchased this TV locally at Wal-Mart in June, 2008 for $686. In the store it has rolled back to $598 in November and is currently $498 on line Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday (Out of Stock on line). WOW!!

The Wal-Mart extended warranty mirrors the Sony warranty, meaning in home service, which can be purchased in the store for two years and there is a three year option (True three year) on line for $88. Wal-Mart has a ninety day no hassle return policy. Great selling points for purchasing local at a brick and mortar store.

After my 30 inch Toshiba CRT television failed I compared Sony, Samsung and Panasonic 32 to 37 inch varieties. For a viewing distance of about 15 feet, I thought the 32 inch would suffice. However, it is just a bit too small. I opted for the 32 inch TV, since one person could carry it and it would easily fit in the backseat of my car to bring it home from the store. In retrospect, the Sony 37 inch may have been a better fit in the room, and it might have just squeezed in the back seat of my car. However, there are limited places to purchase the 37 inch TV; the closet to me is Target. My Primary TV is a Panasonic 50 inch, with Yamaha Surround Sound.

The set up out of the box was fairly simple by attaching 3 phillips head screws to the stand. However, the TV was pretty low on my current TV stand, so I purchased six 8×12 black shelves and raised the TV up to a better viewing level. The TV is not top heavy and remains stable on the raised shelves. I expect in a home with a child, a more secure option would be warranted.

The local cable was simple to hook up and numerous High Definition channels are available, from the bigger networks, PBS, etc. There are numerous inputs for DVD, computer, gaming, etc. There is even the older one line video input as well as the S video input, which will complement the older AV equipment.

This TV is 720P and will accept the 1080I and 1080P, but only displays 720P. The screen refresh rate is said to be 60hz (From a review I saw), but I have not seen this confirmed by Sony. The pixel response time rating varies by site and I have seen it rated at 8 ms and/or 10 ms.

Depending on the film stock the image clarity is excellent to fair. High definition channels and DVDs like Finding Nemo are fantastic. Standard TV is great too. Older DVD TV shows need more tweaking for a better viewing experience.

I tweaked all of the settings for Vivid, Standard and Custom for cable and component one. Each input requires calibration to adjust settings. Another nice feature is that the backlight has a level adjustment to raise or lower the brightness, to suit your room light level (Day glare, night level, etc). Also, there is a video noise reduction control, which is a must for the poor DVD transfers that need the grain reduced, but it also darkens the screen – NOTE: Before tweaking your settings, make sure the noise reduction is set to off….

I opted to tweak all of the image controls comparing Hi Definition, regular TV and DVDs. I used an older 480i DVD player with component cables. I have THX DVDs that have a calibration option – The best use was to set the blackness level and sharpness from the DVD disc. Otherwise, I set the other options by eye for my best viewing experience.

The sound quality was pretty good right from the TV, but my viewing on this set is mainly nightly news or older TV shows on DVD. The TV audio does not need to be maxed for a favorable listening level. I did tweak the audio a bit for my desired sound. A negative is that the audio out (Stereo L & R) is fixed – I have the stereo audio run through an older Sherwood amp era 1980s, which I do not use very often. With the TV having fixed audio out, the volume on the amp is not raised by increasing the volume on the TV (Something my old Toshiba TV was capable of doing).

The only Digital Audio out is an Optical Audio out (One Thin cable plug for 5.1 Sound). There is no Component Audio out, (One Cable for 5.1 Sound) which I use for my current system. I am not a fan of the Optical audio cables.

The closed caption feature works well. I was playing an older DVD TV show (BBC), with no caption features, but the TV picked up the closed captions, which was great. The size of the caption font is easily read. The TV also has a display button for the information banner – TV channel and displays (when available for the channel) – the show title, time remaining, resolution, etc. The downside is the display font is too small for my viewing distance, and can not be changed (as far as I can tell).

Another great feature is the widescreen mode, which fills the screen rather well with the pan and scan pictures of the older DVD TV shows. The Full mode feature expands the picture, which looks too stretched to me.

Overall, I am happy with the quality of this TV. With the price drop of nearly $200 since I purchased it, it is now the deal of the day at $498. I have not seen a sale ever on the Sony 37 inch TV. If I did, I would have returned the 32 inch TV, within the ninety day return period and purchased the Sony big brother.

NOTE: If you go to the Crutchfield web site, the owner’s manual can be downloaded, plus there are many TVs to compare with.

    5 Stars Sony Bravia Awesome!
SONY Bravia Flat Screen HDTV is the best, by far, that I have seen. Just a great picture!

    5 Stars excellent
Just bought this tv from Target at total cost of $486. Price was great! Have not hooked up to hd source but have upconverter dvd player and s-video hookup from directv tivo. Very suprised that the standard source looks as good as it does, much better than my 55″ sony does with same source, probably because of blowing up of picture. It does lag with motion in the standard source but looks very good with upconverted pictures, watched Finding Nemo at looked very close to hd. Sound is good, as good as can be expected from a smaller tv. Have only one hd source which is not near this room so will upgrade later but for now, no complaints. Very nice smaller tv

  • Sony Bravia Z Series KDL 40Z4100 B 40 Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV Black

But phenomenal image quality and show-stopping design isn’t all. The KDL-40Z4100 also includes DLNA compatibility so you can access your digital photo collection over your home network (additional DLNA components required; sold separately). DMex is also on board for an optional digital connection to innovative expansion modules like the BRAVIA Internet video link for exciting web-based content. 5 Stars Amazing Picture!
Bought the Sony 40″ 1080P Z LCD running with PS3 over Monster 1000M HDMI. Verdict, Amazing Picture! Go ahead buy Wall-E BluRay and turn on the TVs Motion Enhancer on Standard or High. This is as close to 3D as you can get. Absolutey breath taking during the SpaceWalk scene.

LCD pix looks very good with HD TV and digital cable even looks better then regular 1080I TVs. Amazon is currently offering this TV at a huge discount. Buy this TV or its 46″ sister, and you will be happy. The TV on Vivid setting is very bright so you will need to have a very bright roon or manually tweak the custom setting. Also, TV comes with no cables, so you will need to buy high end cables for your HDTV and Blu Ray to get the perfect picture.

5 Stars The best price/value ratio and the best (period) total package now available
This TV has numerous advantages over the Samsung 6xx and 7xx series which it is often compared to. First off, the Samsung’s are fantastic TVs. The characteristics of the picture (color cast, primarily- which is different among makers- cool is cooler on one, neutral may be warmer on another and warm may be too warm for some viewers, etc.) should be judged by each individual viewer. There are some people who are going to like the Samsung’s picture better than the Sony’s, and vice versa.

That being said- I return to the advantages: Deep color and x.v. Color. Despite some spec sheets which show this set doesn’t have x.v. color, it does. It has both deep & x.v. color, and one can only imagine that the reason the Sony marketing department may have chosen to leave that off spec sheets after the TV had already been designed was to better differentiate their much more costly XBR series TVs. On the other hand, the engineering and cost marketing departments had obviously found advantages in maintaining a common BOM with their latest chipsets which also support their 120 Hz Bravia Engine 2, etc. These must be common among this Z-series Bravia and the ‘08 XBR offerings, in my estimation.

The most important differentiation between this Sony set and the Samsung competition may be the true 24 Hz (or 24 FPS) playback of 24 FPS blu-ray material. This makes the Sony standards-compliant on three important new standards for High-Def that the Samsung simply ignores. Add exceptional image quality and build quality (in my eyes)- and the Sony is a no-brainer for ~$200 more than the Samsung.

I have been surprised by the omission of these important facts from other reviews. I have had the TV for over a month and bought it on Amazon- and I couldn’t be happier. Of course their 48 month 0% financing deal also helped.

    :-)

    5 Stars Always beautiful
I have the 40 inch version and while the HD is amazing, I think where it will stand out to the average users is it’s ability to upscale standard definition signals. It does an amazing job. I have (non-HD) Dish Network (at least until AT&T’s U-verse is available on my block) and this set gives my Dish Network subscription a new lease on life.

The other killer feature is the ‘favorites’ button on the remote. It will allow you to select which input to view by a animated, ribbon like menu of icons (XBR) that you can somewhat customize. This makes it simple to change sources for those less likely to understand HDMI1, HDMI2, Component 1, Composite, etc.

Picture quality is flawless. The only thing it doesn’t have is…wait, it’s not missing anything. This costs more than most it’s size but it fits smaller spaces since the speakers are under the LCD and the frame around the LCD is less than 1 inch.

This set gave me the most bang for the space, not buck. It’s not the cheapest but I have no buyer’s remorse either – and I AM cheap.

1 Star Totally not worth the hype
Totally regret getting this. The A650 smokes it. Plus I have sparkles everywhere. Save your money for the A650 and a home theater system.

    5 Stars Wonderful
The TV is everything Sony advertises it to be and the White Glove delivery service from Amazon was great. After comparing prices and services advertised locally and on the net, Amazon had the best value for my needs. I am very happy with my purchase.

    5 Stars Excellent 26″ LCD
Did quite a bit of research between Samsung and Sony on their lines of smaller LCDs – had a 22″ Samsung 650 but the viewing angles were not very good (very light from viewed from above, and very dark when viewed from below). This Sony has excellent picture from any viewing angle and the price is very comparable with other 26″ on the market.

4 Stars One of the better TVs in the 26″ flat-panel group
At first, I was shopping for a cheap 32″ HDTV for my bedroom. After getting burned by two straight bad 32″ HDTVs from other brands, not wanting to spend more money for the more expensive 32″ sets, and seeing that a 32″ screen is a little too big for my small bedroom, I decided to look one size smaller and get a good 26″ television at the same price range.

I singled out this Sony model out of the other 26″ televisions because it was the only 26″ television that actually had a vertical viewing angle. The pictures on the rest of the 26″ televisions turn white when viewed from above and turn purple and green when viewed from below. This Sony model does not have this problem.

The picture is great for an LCD. There are settings to improve the levels of black and white. Picture from the component connections look good. Analog channels have a bit of static in some colors. I don’t have any HDMI device to try out the HDMI ports.

The television’s audio is good when it’s loud, but not good when it is set low. My television had a low-volume hiss in the built-in speakers and is noticeable in low volume levels. There are stereo RCA and digital coaxial audio outputs for external speakers.

This television forces the user to run a 30+ minute auto program to detect all of the channels. There is no way to manually add or remove channels from the television without running the auto programmer first. Thankfully, the auto programmer found all of the analog and clear unscrambled cable channels and didn’t add any scrambled channels.

The biggest turnoff of this television is its selling price. Depending on the sales price, you can get a low-to-mid range 32″ HDTV for the same price.

If you just care about screen size, then those 32″ HDTVs might be for you. If you want quality for about the same price and don’t mind a smaller size, check out this Sony while shopping around. It’s not the best TV out there, but it’s in the top five of 26″ HDTVs out there.

edit: if you do get this model or any other Sony LCD television, immediately shut off “Noise Reduction” in the Advanced Options of the Picture menu. Noise Reduction introduces ghosting into the picture and most video modes have it on by default.

    4 Stars HDMI cable issue
Everything about this set is wonderful but ONE: There is a known SONY flaw with this particular model (26-M4000) and the HDMI cable connection when connecting to an HD Cable Box. I experienced a very thin white line that I called a “pearl necklace” of digital interference at the top of the screen on ALL non-HD broadcast channels and many of the network HD channels. You can fake it out by using ZOOM but then you lose some of the picture. I guess you could live with it, but it annoyed the heck out of me. The workaround is to use component cables (provided for free by my cable company). I attached the component cables and “voila” — no more “pearl necklace” interference. The sound and picture are sterling but the quality is a tick less fine than with an HDMI hookup. But I paid $579, returned the Monster HDMI cable and saved myself that $80 expense, so I really have nothing to complain about.

    4 Stars Good 26″ tv
Picture and viewing angle are very good. Sound is clear but not much bass. The shiny black finish can be a little distracting. I like the remote layout and the on-screen menus. All in all, I like it.

5 Stars great picture, great sound!!
we first purchased another brand, terrible sound quality. went with this tv for the speaker quality. it’s great!

    5 Stars Sony verses Sharp
I just sold my year old Sharp Aquis 32″ 1080P for this Sony. What a difference their is between the two. Sony blows the Sharp right out of the box. The picture on this Sony is outstanding. I cant tell you how happy I am to be rid of the Sharp and how much more enjoyable watching and using this Sony is. The Sharp was such a disappointment. My hat’s off to Sony for this fine product.

5 Stars Excellent TV worth the Money
This is an excellent TV. Not many TVs of this size are Full HD (1080P). It also has really great contast ratios. It has a 25000:1 contrast ratio. The menus are really easy to use and very intuitive. It shipped quickly, and I was called the day before delivery to schedule a few hour window of when they would arrive with the TV. That made it very convenient.

    5 Stars Tickled pink.
Oh dear! I can hardly believe my eyes. I thought my Wega 23″ from Sony was an unsurpassable bedroom set due to its stunning picture quality and vividness, but I was wrong. Even within a couple of feet this 32XBR6 simply blows my mind. And what a rabbit it pulls out of the proverbial hat with standard cable channels! Through HDMI, it upconverts everything to 1080P and, by gosh, these standard cable channels actually look pretty darn decent. If this set is as reliable as my previous set, and I don’t see why it wouldn’t as they are both from Sony and the XBR family is this company’s top of the line TV’s, then my friends, you have here an outstanding winner that leaves everyone begging for a place in front of the screen.

5 Stars Great TV, but the TV Guide function is very poor
The TV itself, superb. Brilliant colors, plenty of contrast, tons of features. Viewing angles are good, not as good as a plasma or CRT TV but better than most. As you get to the side, you do start to lose contrast, but the picture is very viewable and when I say get to the side, I mean at least 45 degrees to one side or the other. You can get confused going through the menus on setup, but once you’re through them, it’s fine and you can go back and forth easily. I do like the menu layouts and the use of the options button on the remote to get to the most useful. I just use the build in speakers, and the sound is great. The simulated surround sound is quite pleasing. The hookup to my VCR/DVD/DVR (1080p upconverting) was simple….one HDMI cable and it’s all ready to go.

The TV Guide interface is my one complaint. The interface itself isn’t so bad…but the TV guide data is horrible. I get off the air TV in the Denver area, the TV guide, when properly setup, shows multiple different stations on EACH channel! So if you don’t put the proper station at the top of the list at each channel….the information shown on screen as you change channels is wrong. In addition, if you hit the TV Guide button, you get an overload of listings. If you turn off any one of the multiple listings for each individual channel…it turns off the channel from being selected. This is mostly TV Guide’s problem, not Sony’s but the ‘turn off any one listing and you turn off the whole channel’ is Sony’s problem.

Bottom line….I am VERY pleased with the TV, I would buy another one in a heartbeat and would strongly reccomend it to my friends. I tend to be a perfectionist about skin colors and color saturation (to me, most people set their TV’s with the color control turned up way too high) so the picture looks natural. I was not disappointed in this TV in this area. For me, it takes a lot of back and forth between all the various options…but the end result is as close to perfect as I’ve ever seen in a LCD based TV (or computer screen for that matter).

I believe the additional cost over Sony’s similar 32″ 720p (KDL32L4000) set is worth the extra money. To me, the difference between the two was very visible when looked at side by side. Your mileage may vary.

5 Stars best TV for the bedroom

    5 Stars Sony Bravia
I bought the 40″ Sony Bravia for a house warming gift to my daughter. The Picture is so clear especially High Definition. I bought a Sony Bravia 32″ for myself last year. I would highly recommend the Sony over others. It’s worth the cost.

    3 Stars One complain …
I purchased this TV and the price was good and the delivery was good too. The picture is clear. One complain I have is that it takes like 20 seconds to view the screen after I press the power button. I don’t know if it is because i do not have HD transmission but I doubt it because I have a 32″ Sharp Aquos and it takes just five seconds to display something on the screen. I may have to check with the Sony website.

In general i am satisfied but i dont think it should take 20 seconds to display something on the screen.

    5 Stars Very Pleaased
We are very pleased with the Sony Bravia TV. The picture quality is great! I would recommend this TV to everyone. Just keep the remote away from German Shepherd’s, ours ate the remote!

    4 Stars Great Buying Experience
This television just arrived this morning and I have much to learn about it, but I wanted to write about the great buying experience I had at Amazon. Ordered the television on a Friday — because it was over 40″ we received free White Glove shipping and it arrived on Monday! The delivery person brought the tv into the house, unpacked it and set it up. When I went online a little while later I saw that the price for this tv had dropped so I emailed and called Amazon and in a few hours received written email confirmation that the charge would be adjusted on my credit card. I was very pleasantly surprised and am very pleased with this entire experience so far.
