Premium HDMI v1 3 Cable 2M 6ft
5 Stars Works Great
As far as HDMI cables go, this one works really well. I plugged it in and had no problems; the picture and sound quality were as good as ever. It’s definitely a worthwhile HDMI cable.
5 Stars Very good cable
It is very well made and replaces 3 different cables. Picture quality and sound quality are the best I have seen. Works great with 1080P TV.
4 Stars Standard
I own like 4 of these cable for my devices, not problem whatsoever with any of them and this one is no exception because nowadays all of these cables have droped their price and all with the same quality, just be sure that wichever you choose just be sure that it has gold platted in the end like this one
Dont go for anything less
5 Stars The review is based on the quality, you need to judge the value!
First of all I’m an electrical and a software engineer so I’m generally not fooled by marketing information when it comes to electronics. In case you didn’t know HDMI stands for High Def Multimedia Interface, and it is standardized. That is it’s agreed upon by producers of the electronics they use this format to output uncompressed digital audio, as well as compressed formats, and HD video. If you use component video, a near equal standard in quality, you need 5 cables, three for video, and two for sound, and the sound is analog based. There are additional inputs that can be used for digital sound to go with component video, but they are not in the same cable like the all-in-one HDMI cables.
What’s so good about this cable, and why the high rating? Well that rating would dive quickly if I thought the price were too high, I’m reviewing this Vine product without knowing the price. What I can say is the cable is very well made, reinforced on the plug ends so as not to become damaged, and has gold contacts that do not degrade. The standard is 1.3a, and essentially that is the latest, it supports newer sound formats, and something called deep color.
Why should you buy it? Well if you have the latest audio and video equipment, you may want something that supports the highest standards. You’ll still want to gauge the price. I bought some HDMI cables on Amazon that were very cheap, only a few dollars each. They performed just fine for my HDTV connected to an up converting DVD player. I swapped the cable with this one, and put on an anime episode that I knew to be a bit grainy when blown up to 1080i. I changed the sound formats to the specialty ones the TV supported as well. I detected no differences at all, my previous cable was a 1.2 standard but it worked just fine. I really don’t have any current components that can test the new uncompressed audio, and maybe in the future these will become popular. Then again, maybe they are only for audiophiles.
The danger is buying cables that process digital information is to overpay. Companies out there will immediately adopt the latest standards, so the price will get competitive soon. Remember this is the digital world of signals. You don’t need an auto jumper cable-sized copper to transmit digital data. That’s why these HDMI’s can be made so small. Here is a quick tutorial on the differences between digital and analog. I have lamp cord sized copper going from my stereo to my speaker. The reason is the full amplified power up to 100 watts or more must be output to move the magnet coils in a speaker system. If the transmission were digital what would be done is the data bits would be transmitted on thin digital rated cables, just like from your USB drive to your MP3 players or computer system. Then there would be a decoder in the speaker which would decode the data, convert to an analog signal, amplify it in the speaker and drive the speaker coils to hear it. Unamplified signals do not need as much copper to transmit along wires. That means you don’t need very big wires, or special quality to handle the digital signals, just enough to handle the rated volume of digital data.
Unless the cables are carelessly made they work, even the cheap ones do this if they are compliant to the latest standards. If your equipment is older you don’t even need full 1.3 compliance. Electronics stores sometimes make a living selling expensive cables to make up for low margins on their component sales. This is a perfectly fine cable if the price is reasonable, if it ventures towards the half century price mark in dollars however, shop around!
5 Stars Making a good connection
Should I buy an HDMI cable? They do improve signal quality on digital devices. I noticed a solid improvement when I bought an HDMI cable to connect between my DVD player and my 1080p television. The signal was crisper, picture and sound sharper.
Which HDMI cable to buy? They’re all built to a standard, so probably the most critical issue as long as you get an HDMI cable for digital devices is to think about length. Longer runs will depreciate your signal quality, so measure the distance you need and buy the cable that meets this distance.
I’m well pleased with this cable. It’s going between the TV and the Blu Ray player I’m getting the spouse for Christmas. Shhhhhh don’t tell!

Sennheiser EH 150 Evolution Hi Fi Stereo Headphones

The eH 150 closed dynamic hi-fi stereo headphones are the ideal partner for powerful modern music, providing a high sound pressure level and a vivid, crisp bass response. Due to their effective attenuation of ambient noise, these headphones are particularly suitable for listening on the move.
4 Stars Nice Headphones
These are a great pair of headphones if you don’t want to spend too much money, but still want above average sound and comfort. I typically wear them on my train rides to and from school, and I like that these headphones cancel out a lot of outside noise that regular ‘earbuds’ wouldn’t. I listen to music with an iPod, but it still sounds good – especially the bass. The foamy ear pieces are also adjustable for a looser or tighter fit.
I guess the only issue I have with these headphones is the ridiculously long cord – I had to wrap it up a few times and twisty-tie it so I wouldn’t trip over it / get it caught on something.
Overall – a good set of headphones if you’re not looking to wear a huge price-tag over your head, but still want good quality music and comfort.
5 Stars Still Lovin’ them
They are my lifesaver for work. I sit in the cubical environment and they allow me to tune out the rest of the world well enough to stay in my own world when I need to. I had a pair of the HD 202 for several years and loved them. Unfortunately the wire became damaged at the left earphone and I had to replace. The only reason I went to the EH 150 was to see if there may be a difference. I don’t believe there is. When the time comes and I need to replace them again I will probably stick with the same ones. You can’t beet the price and comfort.
4 Stars Great budget headphones
These are a set of good headphones if you don’t care to bang them up a bit. They are also a good set if you are a beginning studio junkie. Take these as a stepping stone to better headphones if you are starting studio recording or mixing. Also if you do with out this color you can go for the Sennheiser HD 202’s which are practically the same thing. The only thing different with these two is that the HD 202’s are black and has a manual wire wind-up clip. Other than that the sound, size, headband, and ear cup foam are exactly the same. Plus why pay more for the same thing? Another thing is that these headphones are known to get tight if your head width is 7 inches or bigger. But if your there or below then everything is a-okay.
5 Stars Sennheiser always good
I have had Sennheiser microphones for over 30 years that are still unmatched in quality…nice to find that, though the prices have come down, the products are still pleasing. I’m using these presently in combination with a Zoom H-2.
5 Stars Amazing! Worth the Money
I am a college student who commutes everyday by train which means a lot of noise all the time. If I ever turned up the volume with normal headphones to hear the audio, I would go deaf. So I went to search for a new set of headphones for myself on amazon and found this and ordered it.
Shipping was extremely fast and FREE! I thought that it would take at least 5 days but it came in a day and a half with standard shipping!
Even though it does not clearly say it has noise cancellation on the box, the feature is built in allowing me to listen to my iPod on the lowest volume setting in many busy train stations.
One thing to note, the noise canceling is automatically turned on as you plug the headphones in which means NO OFF BUTTON for the noise canceling which means it drains extra battery life. This is of no concern as I hear almost every little sound from the music and is definitely worth it.
To address the whole “Too small for the head” complaints, yes it is a little tight, cannot be really adjusted well, and for some people might be uncomfortably tight but really does not give any kind of headaches for me as I use it for hours at a time and do not have a small head.
In the end, it is an AMAZING PRODUCT. Great quality parts, great features, amazing price. The true value, I estimate could go up to at least $150-$190.

Plus, with BRAVIA Sync, you can easily power on and synch the inputs of compatible Sony AV devices connected to the players via HDMI for hassle-free enjoyment.
4 Stars Awesome picture quality & sleek looks
I bought this Sony upscaling DVD player four months ago and have used it quite a lot in this time. First, it totally outscores all other DVD players in ine aspect for sure and that is the upscaling property & picture quality. It’s not as high as Blu-Ray, but it surely reaches 1080p HD quality. I was about to buy a “Samsung 1080P8 upconverting player”, since it was showing as bestselling on Amazon. the after reading one review I searched for “upscaling” player and found this one.
It’s black sleek looks suit my Samsung LN46A750 and a sleek mounting balck stand. It is not noisy when DVD is inside and can remember the playback time of 6 DVDs. There are a variety of audio & video options to play with. The buttons on the player are a hard to see, but then I mostly use remote, which is very sleek and easy-to-use as well.
Overall, it is a good buy at this price till Blu-Ray prices take a dive.
5 Stars Sony Upscaling DVD Player
Also happy with all aspects of this purchase. Very efficient, price was great as usual, and delivery prompt.
5 Stars It Delivers
Sony DVP-NS700H/B 1080p Upscaling DVD Player, Black It delivers a great picture, and it is easy to operate.
1 Star AVOID THIS DVD PLAYER
DO NOT BUY THIS DVD PLAYER. I HAVE HAD IT FOR 6 MONTHS. 90% OF THE TIME WHEN WE ARE WATCHING A DVD, THE PLAYER WILL EITHER STOP PLAYING COMPLETELY OR, MORE FREQUENTLY, SUDDENLY THERE WILL BE NO SOUND. I HAVE TO STOP THE PLAYER, OPEN THE DRAWER AND/OR CHANGE THE SETTING FROM NORMAL TO PROGRESSIVE AND THEN BACK TO NORMAL. THEN IT WILL PLAY AGAIN AS NORMAL. THIS HAS HAPPENED AS MANY AS FIVE TIMES DURING A 90 MINUTE DVD. SONY WANTS ME TO SEND IT IN FOR REPAIR, AT MY EXPENSE. I SAY NO, THEY SHOULD REPLACE IT OR PAY FOR ALL COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH REPAIR. NEVER ANOTHER SONY PRODUCT. EVER. BE WARNED.
5 Stars amazing quality upgrade
you can’t beat sony for dvd upconversion. light weight and easy to set up!
